Web Developer (Hourly)

We're hiring an experienced, reliable, and creative Web Developer with a strong background in both Shopify and WordPress. This is a remote, work-from-home opportunity for someone who can work independently, communicate well, and deliver quality work on time.

We’re looking for someone who understands design principles as much as the technical side, You should be confident in both building and styling a site, not just installing themes or plugins. If you're someone who pays attention to detail, loves solving problems, and can work independently, we'd love to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
-Develop and maintain Shopify and WordPress websites
-Customize and optimize themes, templates, and plugins
-Troubleshoot and fix layout, speed, or functionality issues
-Collaborate with team on UI/UX improvements
-Perform regular updates, backups, and security checks
-Apply basic SEO best practices
-Customize and optimize our Shopify theme (Liquid, HTML, CSS, JS).
-Build new product pages, landing pages, and custom sections.
-Improve site speed and fix performance issues (LCP, CLS, render-blocking assets).
-Integrate third-party apps and tools (e.g. review apps, upsells, subscriptions).
-Troubleshoot bugs across desktop and mobile.
-Maintain responsive design and brand consistency across devices.
-Collaborate on A/B tests, CRO ideas, and site enhancements.

Required Skills & Experience
-Shopify & WordPress (including front-end customization)
-HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, PHP, MySQL
-Figma, Elementor, Divi, Adobe XD/Photoshop
-Experience with Shopify Liquid, theme development, and app integrations
-Responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility
-Working knowledge of GitHub, APIs, or Laravel is a plus
-Fast, stable internet connection
-Excellent communication and responsiveness
-Ability to work with Figma/Canva designs and bring them to life on Shopify
