About The Role

As a Content & Outreach Specialist at Position Digital, you will take ownership of content delivery and link acquisition for Position Digital – boosting our rankings so that we win more clients. This includes working on everything from keyword research and content ideation to briefing, editing, and optimising content for SEO and UX – as well as acquiring backlinks and developing and owning the outreach strategy. You will also be responsible for reporting on the effectiveness of the content and outreach strategy.

You will use AI across your workflow to produce work quickly and to a high standard. You must be confident in prompting AI to get quality outputs and know how to refine or edit these outputs to meet expectations.
You’ll be comfortable working across a mix of informational and transactional content types and have a strong understanding of content design, SEO tools and the role of content in the wider search landscape.

We’re looking for someone with an eye for detail and a proactive, collaborative mindset. You’ll work closely with our content, outreach and tech teams. You must be based in the Philippines and able to work full-time, with some overlap with UK hours.

This role will be a 50/50 between content and outreach. However, we are open to applicants who do not have a background in outreach, as full training will be provided.


Content Responsibilities

- Use tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, and Google Search Console for keyword research, optimisation and performance analysis
- Create detailed content briefs, optimised metadata and alt text
- Write, edit and proof engaging content for blogs, landing pages, guides, and more
- Optimise existing content in line with UX, SEO and CRO principles
- Collaborate with designers and developers on content layout and usability
- Use AI tools such as ChatGPT to streamline content creation

Outreach Responsibilities

- Conduct outreach and link-building tasks, including prospecting and email outreach
- Manage content calendars and keep internal documentation updated
- Liaise with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth delivery and content sign-off
- Contribute ideas to improve content performance and team processes

Salary

Salary dependent on experience. 40 hours per week, full-time.

About You

Essential:

- At least 5 years of experience in SEO content
- Proven experience with content strategy, keyword research, content creation, and optimisation
- Familiar with tools like Ahrefs, Semrush, Google Search Console, and ChatGPT
- Strong writing, proofing, and editing skills
- Knowledge of metadata, alt text and on-page SEO best practices
- Understanding of UX and content design principles
- Experience working on both informational and transactional content
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage projects independently, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively
- Based in the Philippines and able to work remotely full-time
- Educated to degree level
- Fluent in English

Bonus if you have:

- Experience writing for B2B, SaaS or Tech audiences
- Social media writing experience, especially for LinkedIn
- Experience gathering expert contributors or interviewees
- Skills in design, visual content creation or layout
- Background in link building and outreach
- A degree in English and/or a humanities-related subject
