JOB OVERVIEW

Overview
We’re looking for a high-performing Social Media Manager / Editor / Strategist who isn’t afraid to take charge, solve problems, and lead content execution. You must bring creativity, initiative, and proof that you’ve successfully grown social media pages before — both in engagement and followers.

This is not a role for someone who “just gets it done.” We need someone who cares about the why behind each post, knows how to tell stories through video, and understands how to make pages perform.

Key Responsibilities
Create and manage 60–80 short-form content pieces weekly (OR) 40 short-form pieces + 2 long-form videos (10–15 min)

Edit content to maximize engagement, tell a cohesive brand story, and fit platform-specific formats (Reels, Shorts, TikTok, etc.)

Write engagement-focused, SEO-optimized captions that drive ranking, shares, and saves

Maintain and execute content calendars in alignment with brand voice and goals

Source additional content when needed (we will train you how)

Proactively suggest improvements, trends, and new content ideas

Communicate clearly and ask questions — no micromanagement here, but we expect open and honest dialogue

Video editing skills: You understand pacing, hooks, storytelling, and visual style

Content intuition: You know what performs and why — you don't post blindly

Caption strategy: Your writing boosts ranking, engagement, and following

Self-starter: Assertive, confident, resourceful — you own your role

Strong communicator: You’re not afraid to ask questions or collaborate

What We’re Not Looking For
People who "just throw things together"

Someone who waits for instructions and needs hand-holding

Basic editors who don’t understand social strategy

Bonus Skills (Not required, but helpful)
Experience with analytics platforms

Familiarity with brand strategy

Long-form YouTube editing

Repurposing strategies across platforms
