About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Business Analyst / Product Owner Assistant to support our Business Analyst and Product Owner in turning unstructured ideas, stakeholder inputs, and business documents into clear and actionable deliverables. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of analysis, communication, and problem-solving, with a strong aptitude for organizing complexity into clarity.


Key Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) from unstructured notes, stakeholder feedback, and supporting documentation.


Translate raw business input and conversations into well-structured functional requirements and Jira-ready tickets.


Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to identify and define data requirements, including source systems, usage context, and validation rules.


Support the creation of data visualizations (charts, dashboards, or reports) to communicate insights or support requirements.


Analyze current business processes to document “as-is” workflows and contribute to “to-be” process design.


Ensure that all requirements are testable, measurable, and aligned with business goals.


Use commonsense reasoning and domain understanding to fill in gaps or inconsistencies in the information provided.


Participate in meetings, taking structured notes and helping to capture key actions and requirements.


Qualifications:
1–2 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Product Owner, or related Agile or Scrum support role.


Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and user story writing frameworks (e.g., "As a [user], I need [feature], so that [benefit]").


Ability to synthesize unstructured information and write clearly, concisely, and precisely.


Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.


Excellent written and verbal communication skills.


Bonus Skills:
Not required: Experience using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.


What We Offer:
Pay Rate: $4 USD Hour, 10-hours per week, Paid weekly.
Flexible work arrangements complete the work in PHP timezone if you prefer.
