We are a leading Ecommerce/DTC agency seeking a talented Video Editor to join our team. This is a remote, full-time position requiring 30-40 hours per week. The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and possess senior-level experience. We offer a competitive monthly salary range of $ ---------- , with retainer-based payment. Responsibilities
- Edit video content focused on retention and performance for various platforms.
- Create engaging ads, UGC, sizzles, and launch assets for high-growth brands.
- Analyze viewer engagement metrics to optimize video content.
- Collaborate with the team to iterate quickly and effectively on video projects.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand strategy and performance goals.

Qualifications

Must Haves
- Proven experience in video editing with a focus on retention and performance.
- Strong understanding of viral content strategies across platforms like TikTok, YouTube, and Meta.
- Ability to work efficiently without compromising clarity and quality.
- Familiarity with video metrics such as AVD, AVP, and CTR.
- Experience creating lo-fi UGC videos that outperform high-budget edits.

Nice to Haves
- Basic motion design skills or proficiency in After Effects.
- Experience in editing founder content or developing video systems.
- Familiarity with performance creative strategies.
- Knowledge of frameworks for engaging video content, such as using hooks effectively.
