Our aim isn’t just to be another wellness app. Jñ?na is designed to feel like a cinematic journey, a pocket retreat that helps people slow down, reconnect with themselves, and access timeless tools for inner clarity and peace — without the Western dilution.

We’re in the MVP stage, with designs ready, content being filmed, and a clear vision for structure and growth. Now, we need someone to bring it to life across web and mobile.

Role Overview
We are hiring a Web and Mobile App Developer to build the first version of the Jñ?na platform — available on iOS, Android, and web. You’ll be responsible for translating Figma designs into a smooth, fast, and beautiful app that hosts our video content, guides users through structured practice journeys, and creates a deeply intuitive experience.

You’ll work directly with the founder, designer, and backend (Firebase) to bring Jñ?na’s unique vision to life.

Key Responsibilities
???? Development (Web & Mobile)
Build the MVP app for iOS, Android, and Web using Flutter / React Native / FlutterFlow / Webflow — we’re open to the stack that best meets needs for speed + design fidelity.

Translate finalized Figma files into pixel-perfect, responsive builds.

Ensure seamless cross-platform functionality (including responsive design for tablets, phones, and desktops).

Prioritize performance, smooth animations, and a clean, immersive interface.

???? Backend Integration
Connect front-end to Firebase backend (Firestore, Firebase Auth, Firebase Storage).

Set up user auth flows (sign-up, login, onboarding).

Configure dynamic content rendering (video playback, user progress, etc.).

Implement user data handling: practice history, reflection inputs, favoriting content, etc.

???? Content & Features
Build core product features:

Home dashboard with suggested daily practice

Library of video content (organized by paths, teachers, and locations)

Class journey modules (e.g., 21-day series)

Teacher profiles

Simple reflection/notes feature

Lightweight community/commenting space

Ensure optimized video streaming, thumbnails, and auto-load logic.

???? Testing & Launch
Test rigorously across devices and platforms.

Prepare for App Store and Play Store deployment.

Deploy web app (with SEO and performance best practices).

Ensure clean handoff and documentation for maintenance post-MVP.

Required Skills
Experience building cross-platform apps using Flutter, React Native, or other hybrid frameworks

Strong Firebase skills (Auth, Firestore, Storage, Functions)

Skilled in converting Figma designs into clean code or FlutterFlow components

Strong grasp of responsive web design and front-end architecture

Comfort working with video-based apps, including performance optimization

Ability to set up lightweight admin or CMS tools (even via Webflow or Firebase)
