About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented Off-Page SEO Specialist with proven experience in citation building and social media optimization. You will be responsible for executing off-site strategies to improve our clients' local and organic search engine rankings.
Key Responsibilities
Build and manage local citations (NAP consistency) across relevant directories
Create and maintain social profiles for brand visibility and SEO
Perform backlink outreach and off-page link-building activities
Monitor and track off-page SEO performance and provide regular reports
Conduct competitor analysis to identify link-building opportunities
Ensure all off-page SEO activities follow best practices and Google guidelines
Collaborate with the content and on-page SEO team to align efforts
Requirements
Proven experience as an Off-Page SEO Specialist, Link Builder, or similar role
Strong knowledge and hands-on experience in citation building (e.g., BrightLocal, Whitespark, Yext, manual submission)
Familiarity with social profile creation and management for SEO purposes
Understanding of SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Moz, or similar
Excellent written communication and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
Knowledge of local SEO best practices is a strong plus
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working with agencies or multiple client accounts
Familiarity with GMB/GBP (Google My Business/Google Business Profile) optimization
Knowledge of schema markup or technical SEO is a bonus
