Plumbing Estimator

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Plumbing Estimator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates for plumbing projects, ensuring compliance with Australian standards, and collaborating with various teams to deliver successful project outcomes. Experience with AroFlo is highly desirable.

This is a work-from-home role based in the Philippines.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Estimation:
-Prepare detailed plumbing estimates, including materials, labor, and equipment costs.
-Analyze project specifications, tender documents, and hydraulic drawings to determine project requirements.
-Count fittings, pipe lengths, and other necessary components to ensure accurate cost projections.

Materials and Cost Analysis:
-Identify and source required materials, ensuring compatibility with project specifications.
-Obtain supplier quotes for materials and services to compile competitive estimates.
-Ensure that all estimates are aligned with current market prices and Australian standards.

Collaboration:
-Work closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to clarify project requirements and address any estimation queries.
-Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure seamless project execution.

Standards and Compliance:
-Ensure all estimates comply with relevant Australian plumbing and construction standards.
-Keep updated with changes in industry regulations, codes, and standards.

Documentation and Reporting:
-Prepare and present estimation reports, including breakdowns of costs and materials.
-Maintain accurate records of all estimates and revisions.
-Provide post-project cost analysis and feedback for continuous improvement.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Plumbing Estimator in basebuild works, industrial factories, civil sites, and infrastructure projects.
-Knowledge of Australian plumbing and construction standards.
-Ability to read and interpret hydraulic and construction drawings.
-Proficient in counting fittings, pipe lengths, and other components for accurate estimation.
-Experience using estimation software; familiarity with AroFlo is a significant advantage.
-Excellent analytical and mathematical skills with a keen eye for detail.
-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
