Ophthalmology Billing, Coding & RCM Specialist

We are actively seeking a highly experienced Medical Biller and Coder with specialized expertise in Ophthalmology. The ideal candidate must have a solid understanding of the complete Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) process and demonstrate at least 2 years of verifiable experience in Ophthalmology billing and coding.
Position Details:
• Role: Ophthalmology Medical Biller & Coder

Key Responsibilities:
• Accurate coding using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS specific to Ophthalmology
• Claims submission and follow-up
• Denial management and appeals
• Insurance eligibility and benefits verification
• Pre-authorizations and referrals
• Patient invoicing and account reconciliation
• Generating RCM reports and improving revenue collection processes
Qualifications:
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on Ophthalmology billing and coding experience
• In-depth knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer requirements
• Proficiency in EHR and billing platforms (specify in application)
• Strong grasp of RCM processes from front-end to back-end
• Excellent communication and documentation skills
