JOB OVERVIEW

I'm on the lookout for a part-time UI & Graphic Designer to help me behind the scenes with my clients in the B2B space, primarily acting as an independent contractor to assist with branding, UI, and visual content needs.

This is a great fit for someone who values steady work, mentorship, and growing their portfolio while maintaining work-life balance.

I'm also in the process of building my small creative agency, so while that’s not the main focus yet, you may occasionally help with internal assets or early projects there. And if things go well, there's potential for a full-time role as the business grows.

Job Details:
- Salary: $500 USD/month (fixed, whether or not tasks are assigned)
- Schedule: 12:00AM - 5:00AM Philippine Time (Mon–Fri)
- Hours per week: ~20-25 hours
- Location: Fully remote

This is a fixed-pay, task-light-friendly role: some nights may be busy, others may have little to nothing. What’s most important is that you're online, responsive, and ready to work during your shift. If a task is assigned near the end of your shift (e.g., 4:59 AM), you’re welcome to do it the next day, unless you’re up for a bit of OT, which will be compensated.

Key Responsibilities:
As my design assistant, you’ll be supporting me on a variety of projects, mostly for my clients. Tasks may vary slightly from day to day, but here’s what you can expect regularly:
- Designing UI layouts, wireframes, and mockups using Figma (desktop & mobile)
- Assisting with branding projects from time to time: logos, icons, social media graphics, and brand manual/guide
- Creating visual content for internal decks, client presentations, and marketing
- Preparing and exporting design assets (e.g., PNGs, SVGs, PDFs) for dev handoff or delivery
- Organizing and maintaining Figma files using clean naming conventions
- Providing progress updates and being responsive during shift hours
- Collaborating asynchronously and revising based on feedback

Confidentiality & Portfolio Use:
This role involves client-based design work under my direction. Because of that:
- All designs you create are not allowed to be shared publicly in your portfolio or on websites.
- You may, however, privately share selected work (e.g., in job applications).

Perks & Benefits:
- Steady monthly income for peace of mind.
- Paid overtime for any extra effort beyond the standard hours.
- Flexible PTO – we all need breaks! You're free to take time off with a quick heads-up so we can plan around it. As long as you're communication stays clear and consistent, you're good.
- Direct mentorship – learn alongside a Senior UI/UX Designer & Art Director.
- Potential full-time opportunity – grow with me as the team and agency evolve.
- Calm, async-friendly workflow – no micromanagement here.

This role is for you if...
- You have 2–4 years of design experience as a UI Designer, Brand Designer, and/or Graphic Designer.
- You’re comfortable designing in Figma and can follow existing styles or systems.
- You’re detail-oriented – you catch misalignments, off-brand colors, and small inconsistencies.
- You’re open to constructive feedback and quick to iterate.
- You can stay responsive and accountable during your shift without being micromanaged.
- You understand the importance of confidentiality and ownership in client work.
- You’re excited to grow and learn from a seasoned designer.

How to Apply
Please send the following:
