# Virtual Assistant – Construction Drafting (Temp-to-Perm)

## Project Snapshot

We’re delivering a **structural retrofit** where the client requires **coordinated working drawings** that **overlay structural elements with architectural plans**. Your core mission is to produce clean, buildable, and permit-ready sheets that align precisely across disciplines.

## What You’ll Do

* Draft and revise **architectural + structural** construction plans (**AutoCAD required**).
* **Overlay** structural framing, grids, and details on architectural floor plans, RCPs, and elevations.
* Convert **hand sketches/markups/notes** and **PDF backgrounds** into accurate CAD drawings.
* Produce **as-builts, redlines, and permit/working-drawing packages**.
* Maintain an organized **file structure** (XREFs, layers, sheet sets, title blocks, viewports, scales).
* Align **gridlines, elevations, layers, and title blocks** to project standards.
* Participate in remote **design reviews**, execute revisions quickly, and log assumptions.
* Provide **daily work logs/updates** and flag RFIs when info is missing or ambiguous.

## What You Bring

* **Must have AutoCAD installed and working on your computer** (specify version in application).
* **Must be able to trace/sketch from PDF backgrounds with 100% accuracy**.
* **6+ months** experience in construction drafting or architectural support.
* Excellent **layer control, scaling, dimensioning, and plan consistency**.
* Solid **communication and comprehension**; you follow instructions and ask smart questions.
* Comfortable with **Google Drive/Sheets** and disciplined **digital file management**.

### Nice to Have

* Familiarity with **California** standards/permits and **seismic/retrofit** work.
* Experience reading **structural notes/schedules** and applying them to overlays.
* **Revit, SketchUp, Bluebeam**, or similar tools.
* Experience creating **SOPs**, plan sets, or handling **redline revisions**.

## Work Setup

* **Schedule:** Flexible; must meet deadlines and attend online reviews.
* **Overlap:** At least **1–2 hours/day** with **PST** for reviews (Mon–Fri).
* **Time tracking:** **TimeProof required** for all logged hours.

## Compensation

* **Trial (2 weeks, paid):** Negotiable or project-based during evaluation.
* **Starting rate:** **PHP 8,500+/month** (less if no prior experience; commensurate with skills).
* **Path to permanent** based on performance, reliability, and quality.
