About Us
We are a fast-growing US-based eCommerce company seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Bookkeeping & Customer Service Assistant. You will work closely with our Finance Manager to maintain accurate financial records, support daily bookkeeping tasks, and provide professional customer service to vendors and clients.
This is a remote position for now, but we may open an office in Metro Manila in the future. Candidates should be within reasonable commuting distance and open to working on-site if required.
Key Responsibilities
Bookkeeping Support:
• Assist the Finance Manager with invoicing, accounts receivable/payable
• Match vendor invoices with purchase orders
• Track and manage damaged inventory, replacements, and credits
Financial Data Entry & Management:
• Perform accurate data entry in QuickBooks Online and Excel
• Maintain and update internal spreadsheets and databases
Customer & Vendor Service:
• Respond to customer and vendor inquiries via
• Handle basic order, payment, and product-related questions
• Escalate issues to the appropriate team when needed
• Maintain excellent customer relationships through proactive communication
Administrative Support:
• Assist with filing, recordkeeping, and maintaining digital finance documents
• Provide general support to ensure smooth finance and operations workflows
Requirements
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (minimum 2 years)
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office 365 (especially Excel)
• Previous experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or finance admin roles
• Good understanding of basic accounting principles
• Excellent English communication skills (written and spoken)
• High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and use sound judgment
• Dependable, deadline-driven, and team-oriented
• Experience in eCommerce or inventory systems is a plus
• Previous customer service experience preferred
Work Setup
• Fully remote setup (for now)
• Must have a stable internet connection and backup power
• Must be located in or near Metro Manila
• Must be willing to work 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Eastern Time (US), Monday to Friday
• Willing to work in-office if and when required in the future
Trial Period
The first 30–60 days of employment will be a trial period to evaluate your performance and fit. Upon successful completion, your position will transition to permanent status.
