SEO & Web Development Specialist

OVERVIEW
Are you equal parts SEO strategist and web tech wizard? 8 Limbs Creative is looking for a skilled SEO Specialist who also has hands-on experience in web development. You’ll play a key role in boosting our online visibility while ensuring our websites are technically sound, fast, and optimized for both search engines and users. If you’re obsessed with Google rankings and know how to tweak the backend of a WordPress site without breaking a sweat, we want to hear from you.

What You’ll Do:
-Manage and execute SEO outreach strategies.
-Ensure high-ranking positions for targeted keywords.
-Conduct keyword research, content audits, backlink analysis, and competitor analysis.
-Optimize websites for speed, mobile performance, crawlability, and UX.
-Implement structured data, meta tags, and SEO best practices across client websites.
-Collaborate with the content and creative teams to guide SEO-friendly content creation.
-Use tools like Google Search Console, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, and Yoast to track and optimize performance.
-Troubleshoot and implement technical fixes in WordPress, including minor HTML/CSS/JS and plugin management.

What You Bring:
-Proven experience in SEO strategy, implementation, and performance tracking.
-Strong knowledge of Google’s ranking factors, algorithm updates, and SEO tools.
-Solid experience with WordPress, including themes, plugins, and minor coding (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP basics).
-Understanding of technical SEO elements like site architecture, page speed optimization, mobile responsiveness, and schema markup.
-Ability to generate SEO reports with actionable insights.
-Great communication skills and the ability to explain SEO strategy in client-friendly terms.
-Knowledge of Google algorithms & SEO best practices
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
