Web/UX Designer (Contract-to-Hire)

The Role
We’re looking for a Web/UX Designer who excels at designing conversion-driven websites with consistency and care. You’ll work alongside our Creative Director to translate strategy and brand into elegant, systematized web design—contributing to design systems, component libraries, and high-fidelity mockups that developers can bring to life.

This is a contract position with the potential to transition to a full-time role based on fit and performance.

Responsibilities
- Design thoughtful, high-fidelity web layouts grounded in UX principles and responsive best practices
- Create and extend design systems in Figma—including typography, grids, color, components, and microinteractions
- Produce clear, client-ready mockups and handoff documentation for development
- Source, generate, and refine visual assets—including icons, illustrations, and images—aligned with the project’s brand language
- Collaborate with developers working primarily in Webflow and other low-code platforms to ensure design fidelity
- Participate in internal design critiques and client-facing presentations

Requirements
- Expert-level Figma skills, including components, styles, and prototyping
- Strong portfolio demonstrating responsive web design and design system thinking
- Experience working within brand guidelines and creating new visual systems from scratch
- Clear understanding of UX best practices, accessibility, and performance-driven design
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, especially in remote environments

Bonus Skills (Not Required, but Appreciated)
- Motion design or lightweight video editing
- Illustration (Procreate, vector work, storyboarding)
- Presentation design (Figma, Keynote, Google Slides)
- Visual branding or identity systems
