Bookkeeper & Systems Setup Specialist | QuickBooks Online Expert for Client Onboarding + Monthly Bookkeeping

We’re seeking a QuickBooks Online expert to help us set up our internal accounting system and create SOPs to onboard new CFO advisory clients. You’ll play a key role in building the bookkeeping systems that support our financial leadership model. Beyond setup, you'll handle monthly categorization, reconciliation, and reporting. Experience with client onboarding, SOP creation, and multi-client management is critical.

About Us:
We are Profit Recon Advisors, a financial advisory firm serving service-based and manufacturing businesses earning $500K to $5M annually. We provide strategic CFO advisory through our proprietary Profit Recon Operating System, and we’re now onboarding multiple new clients who need full bookkeeping and systemized financial operations.

Your Role:
You will be our go-to expert for:
- Setting up QuickBooks Online accounts from scratch (chart of accounts, bank feeds, integrations)
- Creating efficient onboarding workflows and templates
- Handling initial clean-up and categorization of client books
- Managing monthly bookkeeping for multiple clients (reconciliation, categorization, monthly close)
- Collaborating with our advisory team to prepare accurate reports for client strategy sessions

What We Need You to Build:
- A repeatable bookkeeping system we can use across all clients
- Standard Chart of Accounts aligned with our CFO process
- A streamlined onboarding checklist for new clients
- Bank and credit card integrations
- Month-end close checklist and SOPs

What You’ll Work On Long-Term:
- Monthly reconciliation and categorization
- Closing books by the 10th of each month
- Generating accurate financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
- Coordinating with a CPA for adjusting entries when needed
- Tagging transactions for KPI dashboards (FathomHQ)

Ideal Experience:
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience
- Expert-level QuickBooks Online experience
- Comfortable creating systems and SOPs
- Experience with inventory-based businesses or manufacturing firms a plus
- Experience using ClickUp, Slack, Loom, and Google Drive (or willingness to learn)
- Excellent communicator and detail-oriented
