SEO Virtual Assistant (Local SEO + SOP-Driven Tasks)

We're a U.S.-based web design and marketing agency looking for a reliable and detail-oriented SEO Virtual Assistant to help with ongoing local SEO tasks. You do not need to be an expert — but you must be able to follow clear instructions, work consistently, and communicate well.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Following step-by-step SOPs for:

Building local SEO sitemaps

Conducting basic keyword research

Generating SEO content outlines or first drafts (templates + examples provided) with ChatGPT

Using SurferSEO to optimize

Updating spreadsheets and Google Docs with deliverables

Naming pages and organizing content for SEO purposes

Occasionally helping with other SEO tasks as trained

Requirements:

Good written English and grammar

Experience with Google Sheets, Docs, and basic keyword tools (e.g. Google Keyword Planner, Semrush)

Reliable internet connection

Basic understanding of what local SEO is (Google Maps rankings, city landing pages, etc.)

Ability to work with minimal supervision once trained

High attention to detail — you double-check your own work
