ROLE

The Supply Chain Manager will oversee the entire supply chain process for the clients that the division is handling up to and including Logistics, Procurement, Demand Planning and Inventory Planning. The ultimate goal of this position is to provide the appropriate level of customer service at the right cost whilst optimizing the supply chain to deliver tangible benefits to the wider business. Each currently defined area (Logistics, Procurement, Demand Planning & Supply Planning) will have KPIs to demonstrate key deliverables.


RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibility for the Supply Chain aspect of the business and its performance
Create demand plan for production and financial purposes integrated brand
Manage internal supply plans based on our net requirements in order to purchase the right amount of stock to provide the best service at best cost
Responsibility for suppliers (we also treat them like family, and our expectation is that you will too!) and their product in order to obtain the best possible cost of goods and the best possible service, while taking ethical and wider societal implications into account
Responsibility for shipping our product from our suppliers to the 3PL warehouse(s), AWD or Amazon
Use KPIs to manage error and drive continuous improvement
Understanding the risks and opportunities associated with the “plan” and escalating where necessary.
Understanding factories’ production capabilities and lead times, and implementing plans to mitigate risk
Working with our experienced freight forwarders (again, family!) holding them responsible for delivery deadlines
Partnering with all of our key stakeholders in order to improve all processes
Deliver impeccable quality and customer satisfaction
Optimize shipments and cartons to save on costs
Manage pre-shipment inspections
Create + manage shipments in Seller Central, ensuring all shipments are labelled properly


RESULTS

Our IPI score is always above Amazon's minimum for no restrictions (currently above 430)
We maintain inventory levels that prevent stock-outs, but don't create a surplus
Inventory is accounted for during production, shipping, storage, and in sellable conditions.
Up-to-date metrics are always available when needed
Communication with factories and shipping partners is productive and further develops a positive relationship for our brand
Our inventory management sheets are well-maintained and provide clarity into where our inventory is located and its associated costs
Updates to inventory status are made whenever inventory is purchased, shipped, or moved across warehouses.
Forecasts for future purchases are maintained and updated weekly
We are 100% clear on the whereabouts of our inventory at all times


REQUIREMENTS

Experience working with 3PL services or Amazon e-commerce companies is highly preferred
Must have current or 3 year prior experience managing inventory for an e-commerce company (Preferably Amazon private label)
You are already deeply involved in + familiar with inventory management
Knowledge of production capabilities, sales and supply trend
Experience working with freight forwarders and various suppliers
Ability to work remotely and possess his/her own laptop with a high-speed internet connection
Highly analytical and a problem solver
Takes initiative and a self-starter
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail and achievement-oriented
Excellent proficiency in English (both spoken and written)
Ability to plan and execute strategies independently that align with the organization’s goals and objectives
Cannot be at full capacity with the addition of our brands (we are not another number)
