About Us:
We are a well-established Australian consultancy specialising in road surveys using advanced LiDAR scanning technology. To support our growing project base, we are setting up a new offshore office in the Philippines and are looking for a motivated and experienced GIS Team Leader to oversee the operations and build a high-performing team of GIS technicians.

Position Overview:
The GIS Team Leader will play a key role in the establishment and management of our Philippines office. You will lead a small team of 6–10 GIS technicians in the post-processing of LiDAR and survey data, ensuring high-quality output and efficient workflow. While full training on our proprietary systems will be provided, a solid background in GIS, surveying, or architecture is essential. This is an exciting opportunity for a self-starter who is ready to take on leadership and operational responsibilities in a fast-growing, tech-driven consultancy.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee day-to-day operations of the GIS team in the Philippines.
Supervise, mentor, and support a team of 6–10 GIS technicians.
Coordinate workflow and ensure project deadlines and quality standards are met.
Liaise with the Australian head office and project managers for task allocation and updates.
Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and training of new tea ---------- mbers.
Ensure data processing follows best practices and complies with client specifications.
Contribute to the setup and smooth operation of the new Philippine office.
Manage office logistics, basic administrative responsibilities, and reporting.
Key Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Surveying, Architecture, Geomatics, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years of experience working in a GIS or surveying environment.
Proven experience leading and mentoring a technical team.
Demonstrated project management and delivery skills.
Prior experience setting up or managing an office/team in the Philippines is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving and organisational skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently and take initiative.
Based in or near Metro Manila.
Desirable (but not essential):

Experience with LiDAR data or road asset surveys.
Familiarity with software such as ArcGIS, QGIS, AutoCAD, or similar.
Exposure to international projects or remote team collaboration.
Remuneration:
