Amazon Product & Supplier Researcher (With Strong Negotiation & AI Skills)

About the Role
We’re looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented, and results-driven Product & Supplier Researcher to join our remote team at Prodigy Media — a U.S.-based ecommerce company managing multiple successful brands on Amazon.

You will be responsible for identifying new products, sourcing suppliers (especially from China and the U.S.), managing product research pipelines, and negotiating directly with manufacturers. We will also train you to use powerful AI tools and build custom AI agents to help you automate parts of your research and sourcing workflow.

Key Responsibilities
Find and contact potential suppliers in China and the U.S. using platforms like Alibaba, Global Sources, ThomasNet, etc.

Negotiate pricing, MOQs, and production terms with suppliers confidently and professionally

Research trending and niche products in the U.S. market, Amazon categories, and untapped niches

Track and manage multiple sourcing projects at the same time

Review samples, check product specs, and ensure supplier offers meet brand standards

Participate in company-provided training to learn AI tools and systems

Build and use custom AI agents to support and streamline your research and sourcing tasks

Present organized reports with sourcing options, comparisons, and recommendations

Qualifications
At least 2 years of experience in product research, sourcing, or supplier negotiation

Experience working with Chinese and U.S. suppliers (Amazon FBA sourcing is a big plus)

Strong negotiation skills and confident communication via chat, email, and video

Excellent attention to detail and organization

Self-motivated, responsible, and able to manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision

Fast learner who is comfortable using new tools and technologies (especially AI)

Proficient in Google Sheets/Docs, Slack, ClickUp, and Airtable

Stable internet connection and professional work setup
