Virtual Assistant – Video Editor (9:16 Reels/Shorts for Brands)

Job Overview:

We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant with strong video editing skills to help manage and produce high-quality 9:16 (vertical) video content for brands. The final deliverables will be similar in quality, style, and pacing to this example: Chloe Shih Instagram.

//Responsibilities:
-Edit short-form videos (Reels, Shorts, TikToks) in 9:16 format, up to 4K resolution.
-Apply captions, transitions, audio effects, and visual elements that align with modern brand aesthetics.
-Repurpose existing content into engaging vertical video edits.
-Organize and manage video assets and project timelines.
-Stay updated with social media video trends and editing styles.
-Communicate efficiently to clarify creative direction and feedback.

//Requirements:
-Proven experience editing vertical videos for social media platforms (please provide samples or a portfolio).
-Proficient in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar).
-Familiarity with brand storytelling, hook-based editing, and pacing styles similar to Chloe Shih's content.
-Ability to follow briefs and turn around projects quickly.
-Strong organizational and communication skills.
-Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
