JOB OVERVIEW

We are a 7-figure DTC health brand looking for a Direct Response Video Editor who can turn raw content into scroll-stopping, high-converting creatives – without being told what to do at every step.

You’ll be working directly with the founder, gaining deep insight into high-converting video scripts and what makes people click, watch, and buy. This is a performance-driven role – we’re not looking for a “video cutter”, but someone who understands marketing psychology and takes full ownership of the creative output.

You’ll receive raw footage from creators and will be responsible for everything: editing, captions, B-roll selection, punchy sound design, overlays, ---------- s, text effects, and pacing. You must know what good B-roll looks like and which clips increase retention, emotional impact, and conversions.

We can deliver raw material for 3-5 creative concepts (á 3-5 hooks each) per week – mostly long-form VSLs. Speed, clarity, and results matter.

Your Responsibilities:
– Turn raw content into performance-optimized ads
– Add captions, hooks, SFX, overlays, ---------- s, emojis – fast and clean
– Choose B-roll that adds conversion power (no boring stock footage)
– Understands conversion psychology
– Implement best practices from Direct Response Advertising
– Work directly with the founder and learn what truly makes an ad convert
- Continuously improve based on ad performance & feedback

Requirements:
– Proven experience editing Direct Response Ads (Strong Portfolio REQUIRED)
– Understanding of performance psychology & funnel structure
– Strong motion graphics skills (After Effects, CapCut, or similar)
– Fast turnaround time
– Fluent in English (even better if German)
– Proactive, independent, hungry to grow

Bonus requirements:
– Experience in health, wellness or DTC products
- Medical knowledge
- Experience with click-up management tool
