Thalita Leite LLC is looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented Finance advisor/administrator to join our growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a finance professional seeking to make a significant impact in a dynamic organization. You will play a key role in overseeing the company's financial operations while managing the personal finances of the owner.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including managing accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance to the management team.
Monitor and manage the company’s cash flow, working capital, and liquidity.
Assist in the preparation and analysis of the annual budget and quarterly forecasts.
Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and tax laws.
Reconcile bank accounts and resolve discrepancies.
Separating business and personal expenses and profits
Prepare tax filings and assist in audits as necessary.
Provide valuable financial insights and recommendations to support key business decisions.
Assist in developing and enforcing internal financial controls and policies to ensure operational efficiency and integrity.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in finance or accounting roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
Proficiency in financial software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
In-depth understanding of tax laws, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
CPA or other relevant certifications (preferred).
Experience in the Salon business or a similar sector.
Familiarity with accounting software such as QuickBooks
Experience in financial analysis and forecasting.
Schedule & Compensation:
Part-time (Flexible hours, approximately 15-20 hours per week)
Competitive hourly wage based on experience
