Philippines CPA Freelancer (Work from Home)

Harvest Advisory Philippines Inc. (HAPI) is seeking a freelance hourly-rated Philippines CPA to assist our domestic corporation in the Philippines to comply with BIR and other SEC obligations. We are headquartered in Singapore under Harvest Accounting ( ---------- .sg) and support over 300 Singaporean small businesses in their bookkeeping, accounting, and taxation needs. Currently, we have about 8 Client Managers based in Singapore, and Malaysia and 14 Accountants based in the Philippines.

You must be a CPA possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related program.

The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a cross-cultural environment. Knowledge of VAT and Philippines taxation is required. You will also have a chance to progress to perform bookkeeping and accounting for the Singapore entity, and be trained in Singapore FRS, GST and taxation.

Responsibilities:
- Bookkeeping
- Submission of VAT, Corporate Income Tax returns

Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy or any related program
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience is required for this position
- Experience in software like Xero and Dext is preferred
- Must have a strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Must have excellent English communication skills
- Should be meticulous and has a keen attention to detail

Technical Requirements:
- Bank reconciliations
- Prepayment and amortisations
- Fixed assets and depreciation
- Journals
