JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a creative, data-driven Email Marketing & Newsletter Specialist to lead the development and execution of a daily newsletter and broader email marketing initiatives for a fast-growing digital marketplace. In this role, you’ll be responsible for crafting compelling content, curating new listings with the Business Brokerage team, and continuously improving performance through testing and optimization. This position is based in the Philippines and will report to the Director of Content Marketing based in Melbourne, Australia.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and implement creative methods to distribute content and listings through email and other owned channels to amplify brand’s presence.
- Performance Optimization: Use A/B testing and performance data (open rate, CTR, conversion) to optimize subject lines, content blocks, send times, and more.
- Email List Segmentation: Build and manage audience segments to deliver relevant and personalized content to buyers, sellers, and investors.
- Reporting & Insights: Track key metrics and produce reports to inform performance trends and identify areas for continuous improvement.

Required Qualification:

- 2+ years of experience in email marketing, content writing, or digital marketing (experience in marketplaces or eCommerce preferred).
- Experience in business analysis, financial analysis, consulting, or a related field with a strong writing component.
- Experience working with or within startups, marketplaces, SaaS, eCommerce, M&A, or private equity/VC environments preferred.
- Proficient in interpreting financial statements, business models, and KPIs (e.g., CAC, LTV, margin, MoM growth, revenue multiple).
- Ability to synthesize data into compelling narratives that drive decisions or engagement.

Desired Qualifications:

- Strong writing, editing, and storytelling skills with attention to tone and clarity.
- Familiarity with HubSpot, or similar tool.
- A proactive mindset and ability to work cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams.
- Comfortable managing a content calendar and multiple campaign deadlines.
