Social Media Content Creator

We're a high-end, US-based wedding photo & video studio in search of a remote VA who can review wedding footage and cut powerful short-form content for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts.

Every weekend, our team captures incredible ---------- nts — funny, heartwarming, once-in-a-lifetime. We’re looking for someone who can help us find those gems, and edit them into content that moves people and makes them stop scrolling.

You do not need to be the one filming or coming up with content ideas — we already have a constant supply of footage. But you do need an editor’s eye, a sense of emotional timing, and the ability to cut a great ---------- nt into a clean, polished clip.

This is a remote, flexible, ongoing role with room to grow. If you’re hardworking, detail-oriented, and love storytelling through video, we’d love to hear from you.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Watch wedding highlight films and ceremony/speech footage
- Review filmmaker notes to identify standout, emotional, or funny ---------- nts
- Clip those ---------- nts and edit them into 15–90 second short-form videos for IG/TikTok/YouTube
- Add music (or prep with trending audio in mind), captions, and basic effects
- Upload clips for review by our team
- Collaborate with our Leadership Team for feedback as needed

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
- A proven ability to understand the algorithms & cut content that receives at minimum 10k+ organic views, 100k+ preferred
- Strong eye for emotional storytelling and visual pacing
- Basic proficiency with a video editing platform (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.)
- Great communication skills and willingness to take direction
- Comfortable working independently and reviewing 10–20+ weddings per week
- Reliable internet connection for downloading and uploading files
- Strong attention to detail
- Bonus if you already enjoy wedding videos or have edited any before!
