Role Overview: We are looking for a superstar Financial Accountant & Business Support Manager to oversee our financial operations, accurate reporting, compliance, and strategic direction. Additionally, this role will be pivotal in supporting sales efforts, trading terms management, order management, Accounts Receivables, liaising with clients, assisting with operational administration, and contributing to the overall growth of the company. This position is ideal for someone who is an expert in Financial Accounting but is looking to expand beyond traditional accounting role and responsibilities. If you are looking to take on more responsibility, we are looking for a strong leader, someone who can drive our financial rigour and someone who wants to work with us, not for us.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage and communicate the financial reporting and KPI metrics of the company, sales teams and customer channels.
• Oversee accounts receivable/payable, reconciliations, and bookkeeping tax compliance in line with Australian regulations. (ATO experience Is preferred)
• Support the sales team with performance reporting and insights, order processing and AR account management.
• Assist with administrative tasks, including inventory tracking, logistics coordination, and supplier communications to deliver on our market leading customer service.
• Engage with key stakeholders within the business to improve operational workflow.
• Contribute to ad hoc initiatives to drive strategic business decisions.
• Ensure compliance with all financial and operational policies while supporting company-wide improvements.
Key Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years senior Certified Accountant, or equivalent financial certification preferred.
• Proven experience in financial accounting and minimum 5 years’ experience using Xero software.
• Expert in excel and strong analytical skills with the ability to build reporting suites and dashboards.
• Strong English, reading, writing and excellent communication skills. You will be responsible for communicating daily sales performance and all financial reporting.
• Desire to contribute beyond accounting, into sales support and business administration.
• Ability to work remotely and independently, whilst adapting to a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Must be a resident of the Philippines.
• Experience working in the beverage and food industry, import/export industry highly desired.
• Knowledge of liquor industry and or the hospitality sector is a plus, but not essential.
