Assistant Estimator (Work from Home)

Key Responsibilities
• Review and interpret architectural and construction drawings for detailed material take-offs.
• Use PlanSwift (or equivalent software) to perform advanced quantification and analysis.
• Liaise with suppliers: request, negotiate, and follow up on quotes while maintaining strong relationships.
• Prepare, organize, and oversee estimates for 2–3 simultaneous retail or commercial projects.
• Ensure all project documentation (drawings, pricing, correspondence) is accurate and up-to-date.
• Communicate effectively with the estimating team and suppliers to meet demanding deadlines.
• Provide guidance and support to junior estimators or assistants as required.
• Contribute to continuous improvement in estimating workflows and processes.

Qualifications and Skills
• Proven ability to accurately read and interpret architectural/construction plans.
• Strong experience using PlanSwift or similar digital take-off software.
• At least 3–5 years of relevant estimating experience, ideally in retail or commercial construction.
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple fast-paced projects.
• Education in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field is a plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptable to shifting priorities.
• Leadership or mentoring experience is an advantage.
