JOB OVERVIEW

We’re looking for a highly skilled video editor to join Content Sage, a premium personal branding studio founded by filmmaker and strategist King Obe.

We create short-form docuseries-style content for entrepreneurs, executives, and creatives who are ready to share their story, elevate their brand, and make a lasting digital impact. Every project is scripted, structured, and filmed for clarity — we’re not asking you to guess. We’re asking you to bring story to life.

This is an opportunity for someone who understands the rhythm of emotion, clean editing, and the feeling of cinematic storytelling — but applied to 90-second personal brand videos designed for Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.

If you’ve ever wanted to grow alongside a global creative director and work on meaningful content for bold, intelligent clients, this is for you.

What You’ll Be Editing
60–90 second social docuseries episodes

Footage shot in S-Log3 on Sony A7SIII

Labeled content folders with pre-written 250-word scripts + talking head breakdowns

Captions, music, b-roll, pacing, and polish matter here — this content lives at the intersection of documentary and scroll-stopping Reels

Sample project: Google Drive Folder – Reference Videos

You’ll also occasionally cut:

YouTube brand story videos

Short podcast clips

Investor pitch reels and digital ad spots

urnaround Time
2–3 days per video

2–4 videos per project, depending on the client

Footage is delivered batch-style so you can work with flow, not chaos

Software + Skill Requirements
Adobe Premiere Pro (non-negotiable)

After Effects (for light title animation or transitions)

S-Log3 color correction, white balance, and sound balancing

Strong storytelling instinct — you must know how to hold attention

Ideal For You If
You’ve worked on personal brand content, online courses, or story-based ads

You edit for feel, not just flash

You’re looking to grow with a director who will bring consistent work and raise your rate as the brand grows

You prefer systems, clear feedback, and a respectful editing workflow

Please answer the following when you apply:

After watching one of the videos in this reference folder, describe what you believe made the edit feel premium or emotionally compelling.

What’s your usual workflow for handling S-Log3 footage? Please mention your color correction process and software setup.

How would you structure a 60–90 second personal brand video that mixes a talking head, b-roll, and captions to tell a compelling story?

Are you available to edit 2–4 videos per week with a 2–3 day turnaround per video?

If you had the opportunity to grow with a global director who helps build legacy brands — what would you want that working relationship to look like?
