Request for Proposal – Development of Online Platform for Unique Content Distribution via QR
Project Description
We are looking for a development partner to create an online platform where users can create, upload, and temporarily share personalized digital content (such as text, images, video) with a specific recipient via a unique, secure link. These links are generated both online and activated offline via QR codes printed on physical items.

The platform should be user-friendly for consumers and offer robust admin environments for internal operations, affiliated retail locations, and production partners (e.g., print service providers).

Core Features
User-facing
Upload media (video, text, photo, gif)

Input recipient details

Temporary hosting with configurable expiry

Delivery via email and/or SMS with unique token link

Optional response feature for recipients to send media back

No mandatory account; optional activation for access to user dashboard

Backend Functionality
Auto-generation of temporary user profiles

Magic link-based login (no password)

Secure file hosting with expiry logic

Access and interaction logging

Automatic deletion of expired media

Unique QR Code Generation & Management
QR Code Creation
Unique QR codes per item or in bulk (batch-based)

Encrypted and non-indexable URLs (UUIDv4 or HMAC-token based)

Export options: PNG, SVG, PDF, or CSV

Batch Management
Status: unused, activated, expired

Traceable by batch ID, linked to product or campaign

Tracking & Security
Each scan logged (timestamp, device, optional geolocation)

Expired or invalid codes redirect to a configurable fallback page

No sensitive information embedded in the QR itself

Offline QR Activation
Physical items can be activated via printed QR codes

Same flow as online submission

Activation statistics available per location or region

Multilingual Support (i18n)
Platform supports Dutch, English, German, and French

Browser-based language detection with fallback

All texts managed dynamically via an i18n-compatible system

Admin Dashboard (Backoffice)
Security & Roles
Roles: superadmin, backoffice, support

2FA, optional IP whitelisting, audit logs

Order Management
Full order history with filtering (date, status, channel, batch, location)

Media previews, recipient status, delivery logs

Production Environment for Print Partner
Purpose
A separate backend environment for production partners (e.g., print vendors) to access assigned QR-code batches, download them in the required format, and update the production or delivery status.

Key Features
Secure login with limited access per supplier

Overview of assigned batches (type, quantity, creation date, linked location)

Download formats: PNG, SVG, PDF, or CSV

Status updates (in production, shipped, delivered)

Optional file upload (e.g., delivery slip)

Notifications to backoffice when status is changed

Full logging of downloads and updates
