Remote Video Editor (DaVinci Resolve) – Timeline Prep Assistant

Remote Video Editor (DaVinci Resolve + Adobe Podcast)
Part-time, Project-Based (Hourly | $3–$5/hr depending on experience)

We're a small, US-based wedding filmmaking studio looking for a skilled and detail-oriented video editor to assist with timeline prep in DaVinci Resolve using Blackmagic Cloud collaboration. This is a technical editing role, not a creative one — ideal for someone who enjoys organizing footage, syncing audio, and prepping timelines for final editing.

This is not a full-time position. Work is seasonal and project-based, depending on our filming schedule. Some weeks (or even months) may have no assignments, while others may require quick turnarounds.

Tasks include:
Syncing multicam footage using timecode/audio

Building Full Ceremony and Full Toasts timelines

Choosing the best camera angles for each ---------- nt

Basic color balancing (using DaVinci tools)

Audio cleanup using Adobe Podcast Enhance

Organizing project timelines inside DaVinci Resolve (our SOPs will guide you)

Cloud project sync using Blackmagic Cloud

Requirements:
Proficiency with DaVinci Resolve

Reliable internet connection for cloud collaboration

Ability to follow clear SOPs (video walkthroughs and written docs provided)

Strong attention to detail (e.g., camera coverage, sync accuracy)

Responsive communication and ability to meet deadlines

Willingness to work only when projects are assigned — with 1-week turnaround

Our next project is scheduled for May 18th, and we'd assign the prep work shortly after. This includes timeline prep + multicam Ceremony and Toasts edits.
