Operations Virtual Assistant

A leading third-party logistics company is seeking a highly experienced operations virtual assistant with 1 year of related logistics experience to join our team. This role is essential in coordinating and managing the schedules of truck drivers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight.

Responsibilities:

Contact Freight Brokers and shippers, and use Load boards to book loads on behalf of the trucking company.
Maintain constant communication with carriers and drivers.
Establish and maintain rapport with brokers, shippers, etc., to secure dedicated routes for drivers.

Qualifications:

1 year of USA trucking dispatch or brokerage experience.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Excellent grammar usage.
Critical thinking skills.
Reliable internet connection.
Reliable working PC.
Exceptional time management and organizational skills.

Additional Skills:

Experience with DAT load board is a plus
Familiarity with various truck equipment (Flatbed, Dry Van, Reefer, etc.).
Knowledge of TL/LTL booking and rates.
Load planning expertise.

Important:

The posted rate is non-negotiable.
Working days are Tuesday through Saturday.
Shift hours are to be determined but will be 9 hours per day, aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST).
