JOB OVERVIEW

We are looking for a detail-oriented, creative virtual assistant with strong WordPress and content formatting skills to help build a 30-Day Prayer Journal for a church-based conference. You will help us format devotional content, design a clean journal layout, and create a mobile-friendly webpage where the journal will be accessible to attendees and visitors.

This is a high-priority, short-term contract with potential for long-term work if it’s a good fit.
Responsibilities Include:
- Formatting and lightly designing devotional journal entries (in Canva, Word, or online format)
- Creating a mobile-friendly web page using WordPress (we use OptimizePress and WooCommerce)
- Exporting a clean, print-ready version of the journal (PDF)
- Ensuring all design and presentation is suitable for a church conference audience
- Meeting our 2-week deadline with consistent communication
Requirements:
- Strong experience with WordPress, basic page builders (like OptimizePress or Elementor)
- Experience designing simple print-friendly documents (journal, workbook, eBook, etc.)
- Good written English for formatting content
- Experience working with Christian or devotional content is a big plus
- Familiar with Canva, Google Docs, and light design work
Work Terms:
Hours: Part-time contract (10–15 hours/week for 2 weeks)
Pay: $4–$7/hour USD depending on experience, paid weekly via PayPal
To Apply:
Send a message with:
1. The word “IMMA” at the top of your message
2. A brief summary of your WordPress and content formatting experience
3. A link to ONE sample journal, devotional, or eBook design (Google Doc, Canva, PDF, etc.)
4. Your availability over the next 2 weeks

The Top 3 must-have skills this job requires are:

1. WordPress Page Building (OptimizePress or Similar)
Need to know how to build or edit pages on your WordPress site — especially for a clean, mobile-friendly layout. Familiarity with OptimizePress, Elementor, or similar drag-and-drop builders is critical.

2. Content Formatting & Light Graphic Design
VA should be able to format 30 daily devotionals into a consistent, visually appealing style — either in Google Docs, Canva, or directly on the webpage. Basic design sense is key (headers, spacing, font pairing, layout, etc.).

3. Attention to Detail & Deadline Management
This project is time-sensitive. The VA must be self-motivated, follow instructions closely, and communicate clearly to stay on track without daily hand-holding.
