About the Position
We are hiring a Virtual E-Commerce & Social Media Assistant for a fast-scaling pet care company that sells across Amazon and other platforms. As the founder manages multiple responsibilities, you’ll step in as a trusted right-hand to streamline day-to-day operations, social engagement, and inventory processes.
In this role, you will take ownership of key administrative, e-commerce, and marketing tasks, helping to free up your client’s time while driving operational efficiency and online visibility.
Primary Duties and Focus Areas
Social Media
Maintain consistent posting cadence (5 posts/week) across platforms including TikTok,
Engage with followers and promptly respond to comments and inquiries.
E-Commerce & Fulfillment
Handle the creation and delivery of shipping labels.
Oversee stock levels, manage product listings, and coordinate Amazon shipment schedules.
Participate in weekly Amazon-related meetings to ensure smooth operations.
Administrative Support
Liaise with CPAs to ensure accurate inventory reporting.
Provide general administrative support and help optimize processes to save time and costs.
Potentially assist in sourcing new products and managing vendor communications.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
Experience with Amazon Seller Central and e-commerce coordination.
Proficient in social media platform management and content posting.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Highly proactive, detail-oriented, and independent worker.
Comfortable working during U.S. business hours (PST mornings).
Nice-to-Have Experience
Inventory coordination and working with CPAs.
Pet care or wellness product background.
Familiarity with fulfillment software and shipping processes.
Role Progression and Compensation
Starting Phase (First 3 Months): $5.50–$7.00/hour
Post-Onboarding (Months 4–12): Up to $7.50/hour based on performance
After 12 Months: Eligible for up to $8.00/hour upon review
The position will start at 20 hours per week and may expand into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
