Job Summary: The Sourcing/Procurement Specialist will be responsible for managing the procurement process, sourcing suppliers, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality materials and services. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
*Develop and implement sourcing strategies to meet company objectives.
*Identify and evaluate potential suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability.
*Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms.
*Monitor supplier performance and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
*Collaborate with internal departments to understand their procurement needs and provide support.
*Manage the procurement process from requisition to delivery, ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
*Conduct market research to stay informed about industry trends and best practices.
*Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and supplier information.
*Resolve any issues or discrepancies related to procurement and supplier performance.
*Other duties and responsibilities as needed
Qualifications:
*Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field is ideal.
*Proven experience in sourcing and procurement
*Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
*Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
*Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
*Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
