3D Playground Designer

About Us:
We’re a UK-based company specialising in creative, safe, and engaging playground designs for schools, parks, and public spaces. Our mission is to turn imaginative concepts into fun, functional realities – and we’re looking for a skilled 3D Designer to help visualise these projects for our clients through stunning renders and animations.

Role Overview:
We’re looking for a talented 3D Designer with strong rendering and animation skills to create walkthroughs and visual presentations of our playground concepts. Working closely with our UK-based design and sales teams, you’ll help bring ideas to life through photorealistic visuals and engaging motion-based storytelling.

Key Responsibilities:
• Create high-quality 3D renders and animated walkthroughs of playground designs.
• Interpret 2D plans, sketches, and design briefs to accurately visualise playground environments.
• Develop realistic textures, lighting, and outdoor settings in line with UK-based projects.
• Collaborate remotely with our design and sales teams, providing regular updates and iterations.
• Manage multiple projects and meet deadlines for client presentations and marketing use.
• Maintain a growing library of assets and rendering templates to streamline future work.

Must-Have Skills & Requirements:
• Ability to work remotely and overlap with UK business hours as needed.
• Proven experience creating 3D renders and animated walkthroughs or flythroughs.
• Proficiency in 3D software.
• Strong eye for design, colour, spatial layout, and realism in both static and motion visuals.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, especially Photoshop and Illustrator.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and translate concepts into visual stories.
• Excellent communication and time management skills.

Bonus Skills (Not Required but a Plus):
• Background in landscape architecture or outdoor product design.
• Experience working with UK-based design standards (training can be provided).
• Design or video editing skills for enhanced walkthrough experiences.
