Hiring Editors for B-Roll Reels (Short Form: IG Reels, TikTok, Shorts)

We’re looking to hire one or multiple editors to help us create ongoing motivational B-roll style reels. These are short videos where you combine curated b-roll clips with a quote or voiceover to create clean, inspiring content for a modern personal brand.

We’ll supply the footage — your job is to select clips, cut them together creatively, and overlay the right quote or sound bite. Strong aesthetic taste and an ear for impact is a must.

What We’re Looking For:
• Strong short-form editing skills with a clean, aesthetic style
• Ability to pace edits to music or motivational audio
• Experience with basic to dynamic caption design (depending on style)
• Clear understanding of viewer retention principles
• Bonus: If you have an eye for strong quotes/soundbites


Test Assignment:

Your task:
• Select your own motivational quote or sound bite
• Create a ~30–60 sec reel in either the simple or dynamic style (or both)
• Try to impress us with how well you can pair visuals, sound, and pacing


How to Apply:
1. Send links to any relevant past short-form edits you’ve done
2. Let us know:
• How many of these reels you could realistically do per week
• Whether you specialize in simple, dynamic, or both styles
3. Complete and submit your test reel using the b-roll folder above (within 48 hours max)


This is ongoing, long-term work for the right people. We care about reliability, taste, and a strong editing instinct — not just flashy effects. Looking forward to seeing what you create.
