Online Community Moderator

We are a content company that creates viral short-form videos for TikTok and Instagram, working with brands in the business and entrepreneur space. Alongside this, we run a thriving Skool community filled with ambitious entrepreneurs who pay a monthly membership fee to access resources, live mentorship, and direct support as they scale their businesses.
We're looking for a Community Moderator to help us deliver an elite member experience, keep our online space organized and high-value, and ensure members feel seen, supported, and motivated to stay active.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education & Experience:
– Experience managing or moderating online communities (especially for paid programs or digital products).
– Bonus if you've worked with Skool, Facebook Groups, or ---------- .
– Familiarity with the entrepreneur/business creator space is a plus.

Technical Skills:
– Comfortable navigating the Skool platform, Google Sheets, Slack and Gmail.
– Know how to use ChatGPT
– Bonus: Can use tools like Loom and Vimeo (we’ll train you if not).

Communication Skills:
– Fluent in written and spoken English (REQUIRED).
– Able to communicate with clarity, warmth, and professionalism.
– Capable of adapting tone depending on member needs (from chill to professional).

Moderation & Engagement:
– Strong eye for spam, off-topic content, or behavior that hurts the vibe.
– Comfortable enforcing group rules with grace and diplomacy.
– Understands how to spark conversation and keep a group engaged.

Time Management:
– Can consistently check in throughout the day and monitor posts, comments, and questions.
– Responds promptly to urgent issues, flags important posts, and maintains a sense of order.
– Able to keep daily tasks on track in a remote work environment.

Personal Traits:
– Friendly, responsible, and has a member-first attitude.
– Coachable and open to feedback.
– Organized and proactive — you notice problems before they become issues.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Daily Moderation:
– Review and moderate new posts, comments, and activity within the Skool community.
– Flag inappropriate behavior or content and enforce community guidelines.
– Maintain a safe, helpful, and supportive space for entrepreneurs of all levels.

Engagement Support:

– Use ChatGPT and Templates to Write Announcements for Live Calls.
– Post Community Announcements.

Feedback & Suggestions:
– Surface member feedback or suggestions for improving the community.
– Help identify common struggles members are facing and report trends back to the team.
– Bring a creator’s mindset to your role — always looking for ways to make the experience better.
