???? Children’s Book Designer / Typesetter Wanted – Help Bring Our Story to Life!

We’re looking for a creative and detail-oriented book layout designer (or typesetter) to format a beautifully illustrated children’s book by placing text on the illustrated pages in a way that’s clear, visually appealing, and engaging for young readers.

???? Project Details:

Picture book, approximately 38 pages

All illustrations are completed and will be provided

Text will be supplied, to be placed thoughtfully onto each image

Final output needed for both print (PDF) and digital (eBook/Kindle) formats

????? Responsibilities:

Add provided text to illustrated pages in a visually balanced way

Ensure font choice, size, spacing, and placement are child-friendly and consistent

Prepare files for upload to print-on-demand platforms (e.g., Amazon KDP, IngramSpark)

File must be Formatted suitable for Amazon KDP

Provide guidance on layout best practices or enhancements

???? Ideal Candidate:

Experience designing or typesetting children’s picture books

Proficient with tools like Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, or Affinity Publisher

Strong eye for visual composition and typography

Reliable, communicative, and able to meet deadlines
