Power BI Developer

The Power BI Developer will join the client’s Productivity Team, supporting global teams
with their reporting needs. This role will work with stakeholders and colleagues to
deliver tools, metrics, and dashboards.
The main task of the Power BI Developer will be to replicate operational reports from
legacy technologies into Power BI using native and Python visualizations. Other tasks
include creating paginated reports, dataflows, and reports in custom tools.
This global role works across the client’s Shared Services Centers in Costa Rica,
Romania and the Philippines.

Hiring Criteria:

? -Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information
Technology.
? -Minimum of 3 years' experience in Power BI development required.
? -Proficient in developing, publishing, and scheduling Power BI reports to meet
business requirements, translating data into informative visuals and reports to
facilitate data-driven decisions.
? -Expertise in designing DAX queries on Power BI desktop.
? -Knowledge of MDX, M Query, and Power Query.
? -Strong SQL skills, including writing complex queries to extract and analyze large
volumes of data.
? -Experience with Python for data visualization in Power BI required.
?- Experience with Paginated Reports, Dataflows, Deployment Pipelines needed.
?- Experience with Dimensional Models, and Star Schemas for Reporting needed.
? -Experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) is a plus.
? -Proven ability to successfully work and implement multiple projects
simultaneously and manage priorities.

? -Good teamwork and collaboration skills.
? -Can effectively manage complexity and ambiguity.
? -Strong interpersonal and client-facing skills.
? -Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
? -Basic knowledge of Agile Methodology, SDLC, Waterfall, or any Project
Management Methodology is a plus.
? -Experience in scoping, planning, and project management is a plus.
? -Good work ethic, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
? -Willing to work on a graveyard schedule.
? -Willing to work in a hybrid setup and attend 3-day, face-to-face planning
sessions at the client site in Megatower (beside Megamall), Mandaluyong
every two months.
?-Willing to accept a project-based employment initially for 6-months with a
possibility of renewal.
? -Willing to start work immediately.
