Go High Level Automation Specialist

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced GoHighLevel Automation Specialist to join our team on an on-call, as-needed basis. This role is focused on building high-converting workflows, lead routing systems, and SMS/email automation sequences inside GoHighLevel (GHL). It is not a funnel or website design role — we need a systems-minded professional who can efficiently map, build, and optimize automations that drive real results.

Responsibilities:
Map out and implement automation workflows in GoHighLevel for lead generation and follow-up sequences.
Set up triggers, conditions, and multi-step automation logic (e.g., lead intake, nurture campaigns, appointment booking, etc.).
Integrate APIs and third-party tools where needed (CallRail, Twilio, Zapier, etc.).
Optimize lead flow and sales processes to increase conversion rates and reduce drop-off.
Configure and troubleshoot CRM automations to ensure leads are routed correctly.
Set up and manage SMS & email campaigns with conditional logic.
Test and refine automations for performance and reliability.
Collaborate with the team to implement high-level strategies for scaling lead generation.

Qualifications:
Proven experience creating advanced automation inside GoHighLevel (beyond basic workflows).
Strong grasp of conditional logic, CRM triggers, and sales funnel automation.
Experience with Twilio (SMS automation), CallRail, Zapier, and Google Ads integrations.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to optimize for performance.
Detail-oriented — you catch issues before they cause problems.
Able to work efficiently with minimal hand-holding.
Bonus: Familiarity with A2P 10DLC compliance and call tracking optimization.

Compensation & Hiring Details:
Position Type: On-call / Freelance (work assigned as needed).
Location: Remote.
Work Hours: Flexible; availability to respond promptly when tasks arise is important.
