Position Summary:
We are seeking a part-time Paralegal Assistant to assist our internal team by editing, updating, and drafting contracts and agreements. The ideal candidate will effectively utilize AI tools to enhance productivity and accuracy in document preparation and management.
Core Responsibilities:
Edit, update, and maintain various contracts and legal agreements.
Draft new contracts and agreements using AI-assisted workflows.
Manage document version control and organization in Google Workspace.
Assist internal team members with administrative legal tasks as needed.
Ensure documents are professionally formatted and consistent.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience using AI tools (e.g., ChatGPT, legal-tech AI solutions) for drafting and editing documents.
Proficiency with Google Workspace, especially Docs, Sheets, and Drive.
Previous experience or familiarity with biofuels, recycling, commodities trading, or manufacturing industries (preferred but not required).
Ability to understand basic regulatory compliance related to contract management (preferred, not required).
Language Skills:
Spanish proficiency is highly desirable but not mandatory.
Work Environment:
Fully remote, flexible hours.
Approximately quarter-time workload, with potential to increase.
Deadlines typically manageable with occasional urgent tasks.
Communication:
Interaction primarily with internal team members.
