About Us
Daisy’s Guide is on a mission to help couples talk about important topics – ranging from birth preferences to childcare and household responsibilities – before having a baby. It’s shaped by Esha’s early motherhood and backed by her mom Dr. Benazir (Daisy) Drabu’s 20+ years of experience as a pediatrician. Since launching over the holidays, we’ve sold over 1,000 copies to expecting parents across all 50 states.
Our brand is rooted in building trust, sharing real stories, and making the journey into parenthood a little less overwhelming. We’re looking for a thoughtful, creative, and proactive Virtual Assistant to help us grow.
Role Overview
We’re looking for a Virtual Assistant to support our social media and outreach strategy.
You’ll be responsible for helping us bring our content ideas to life, keeping our community engaged, and expanding our brand visibility through research and outreach across Instagram and TikTok (and eventually YouTube).
This is a great opportunity for someone who understands social media trends and enjoys both the creative and relational sides of digital content.
You’ll also identify and reach out to journalists, podcast hosts, influencers, healthcare providers and likeminded brands for collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
1. Content Creation & Scheduling
Repurpose research, parenting tips, and user stories into engaging content for Instagram & TikTok
Edit short-form videos and reels (basic editing skills required – think captions, cuts, transitions)
Assist in managing and updating a content calendar
Collaborate with the team to develop 3–5 core content pillars
Stay on top of relevant parenting/pregnancy trends using tools like Google Alerts
2. Community Engagement
Respond to 100% of DMs and comments within 24 hours
Flag complex customer questions for review
Engage with at least 15 relevant accounts per platform per day: leave thoughtful comments, save/share posts that align with our brand
Track community feedback and engagement trends
3. Research & Outreach
Research and collect names/contact info for journalists, podcast hosts, influencers, OBGYN/GYN and primary care providers, and likeminded brands
Support outreach efforts using pre-approved templates and track responses
Maintain organized lists of contacts for potential collaborations or features
You’ll Thrive In This Role If You Are:
A creative thinker who loves turning information into engaging social content
Detail-oriented, especially when it comes to community management and communication
Naturally proactive and comfortable working independently
Familiar with Instagram, TikTok, and content trends (especially in the parenting/wellness space)
Excited to be part of a small but mighty team building something meaningful
Skills & Tools We’d Love You to Have:
Experience with Canva, CapCut, InShot, or similar simple video editing tools
Familiarity with Instagram Reels and TikTok best practices
Comfortable using social scheduling tools (Post Bridge, Later, Buffer, etc. – or willing to learn)
Basic research and spreadsheet skills (Google Sheets)
Bonus: Experience with influencer or PR outreach

Case Study 4: Trend Spotting
You're setting up Google Alerts for Daisy’s Guide to stay ahead of trends.
