Virtual Assistant for Lead Generation & Sales Outreach

Hi! I am Corey Ann, and in 2022 I left my agency role to start my own content marketing business. Salty Owl Creative is a small marketing studio dedicated to helping U.S.-based small businesses refresh their websites and grow their brands through thoughtful design, content, and strategy. I believe in connection, creativity, and delivering exceptional results for good people and great brands. I am super passionate and have a knack for knowing what every person needs/wants when it comes to their business, but putting myself out there isn't my strong suit and it's holding my business back when I can be helping so many more people.
Role Overview
I am seeking a proactive, detail-oriented Virtual Assistant to drive lead generation and sales outreach through targeted email campaigns and outbound calls. This part-time remote role offers growth potential as our business expands. I have a zillion businesses already in mind for "cold outreach" and a zillion more scripts, emails, etc. I just need someone to take it all and run.
Key Responsibilities
• Research and build targeted lists of U.S.-based small businesses that could benefit from website or branding services
• Craft and send personalized, compelling outreach emails designed to generate interest and leads
• Make outbound sales calls to engage prospects, qualify leads, and schedule discovery calls or consultations
• Follow up consistently via email and phone to nurture leads and move them through the sales funnel
• Maintain organized records of all communications and lead status using Google Sheets or CRM tools
• Coordinate scheduling of discovery calls and client meetings
Ideal Candidate
• Proven experience in lead generation and sales outreach, including cold calling and email campaigns
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a warm, professional tone
• Highly organized, self-motivated, and reliable with strong follow-through
• Comfortable adapting to evolving workflows and learning new tools quickly
• Proficient or willing to learn Google Sheets, Gmail, and phone communication platforms
