Freight Load Board Specialist – FAST, Accurate, and Experienced

We are a new, a U.S.-based freight brokerage hiring a remote Load Board Specialist with real-world experience in freight and carrier dispatch.

Your primary goal?
?? Win freight loads from DAT and Truckstop at market rate
?? Quickly source a reliable carrier
?? Accurately document and hand off the load to our back-office team

Role Responsibilities:
Monitor load boards (DAT, Truckstop, etc.) for new opportunities

Submit timely, competitive bids using our rate matrix

Communicate clearly and professionally with carrier reps

Book the load when awarded

Log all details correctly into Google Sheets or TMS

Handoff to Account Executive for cradle-to-grave operations

Required Skills:
Previous experience in a U.S.-based freight brokerage or dispatch role

Familiarity with DAT, Truckstop, or similar platforms

Strong written English and carrier communication skills

High attention to detail (this job will be fast-paced and unforgiving of sloppy work)

Reliability and ability to work U.S. business hours

Preferred (Not Required):
Experience using Slack, Google Workspace (Sheets, Docs), HubSpot CRM, or TMS tools

Understanding of market rates and how to submit winning bids without undercutting

Work Schedule:
Full-time

Monday–Friday U.S. Eastern time hours (flexible start time may be discussed)

Starting Pay:
TBD depending on experience, market rate
(Pay increases and bonuses available based on performance and reliability)
