Automation Specialist for e-commerce CJ Dropshipping

We are seeking a part-time (20 hours per week) freelance contractor to work with one of our clients as an Automation Specialist. In this role, you will be responsible for automating order processing, fulfillment workflows, and product returns within CJ Dropshipping. You will play a key role in streamlining backend operations, reducing manual work, and improving the customer fulfillment experience. Familiarity with automating custom packaging processes is a plus. The ideal candidate is highly organized, proactive, and experienced in dropshipping automation. Availability to work in alignment with EST hours is required.


About the work

Set up and manage order and fulfillment automation within CJ Dropshipping.
Automate workflows for product returns and exchanges.
Explore opportunities to automate custom packaging solutions through CJ Dropshipping.
Identify and troubleshoot process inefficiencies to streamline operations.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure that automated systems align with business goals.


Boxes to check

4+ years of experience in eCommerce automation, preferably with CJ Dropshipping (or similar platforms with dropshipping).
Proven ability to automate orders, fulfillments, and returns within dropshipping platforms.
Familiarity with custom packaging automation processes is a plus.
Strong technical skills with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize automations.
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in finding process improvements.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Availability to work part-time (20 hours per week) during EST hours.
