We’re looking for a talented and creative Virtual Assistant and Video Editor to join our team and help take our video content strategy to the next level — with a special focus on creating unique, scroll-stopping, attention-grabbing videos that captivate viewers instantly!

Key Responsibilities
Video Content Creation:
Edit highly engaging short-form content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and YouTube Shorts using scroll-stopping techniques inspired by accounts like Viral VFX — focusing on quick cuts, dynamic motion, fast-paced storytelling, and visually arresting graphics.

• Edit long-form YouTube videos, ensuring polished storytelling, cohesive structure, and professional-quality visuals and audio.
• Repurpose and reformat existing content creatively across different platforms to maximize reach and impact.

Trend Analysis and Recommendations:
• Stay on the pulse of emerging trends, editing techniques, viral effects, and short-form content strategies on Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube.
• Proactively recommend new video ideas, viral trends, and innovative editing styles based on platform analytics and audience behavior.

Scroll-Stopping Techniques:
• Integrate eye-catching visual effects, punchy text overlays, rapid scene transitions, and motion graphics to grab viewers' attention in the first 1–3 seconds.
• Develop hooks and edit sequences designed to stop users from scrolling and to increase watch time and engagement.
• Continuously study and emulate high-performing styles like Viral VFX while adding a creative, brand-appropriate twist.

Brand Consistency:
Ensure all videos are consistent with our brand voice, visual identity, and messaging while still pushing creative boundaries.

Collaboration and Communication:
• Work efficiently with provided raw footage to produce high-impact final edits.
• Communicate effectively and proactively to clarify project details, timelines, and creative direction.

Content Optimization:
• Add captions, trending music, transitions, and visual effects that elevate the production value and improve viewer retention.
• Optimize each video for the nuances of different platforms (e.g., TikTok pacing vs. YouTube Shorts structure).

Project Management:
• Manage and prioritize multiple projects independently, meeting deadlines with minimal supervision.
• Provide clear and consistent updates on project progress and timelines.

Performance Tracking:
Review analytics to measure video success and adjust editing styles and strategies based on audience engagement and performance metrics.

Qualifications and Skills
Experience: Proven experience editing short-form viral content for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and long-form YouTube videos.

Technical Skills: Proficiency with professional video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, or similar). Experience with Asana is a bonus.

Creativity: A strong sense of storytelling, timing, and rhythm, with a knack for crafting scroll-stopping visuals. Sourcing ideas from other industries besides real estate to capture what they’re doing successfully to drive followers, engagement, and business. Be open to learning new techniques and deepening your video editing capabilities.

Trend Awareness: Passionate about tracking social media and editing trends — particularly viral techniques used by top-performing accounts.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous and quality-obsessed — no sloppy cuts or overlooked errors.

Organization: Excellent time management and the ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.

Communication: Strong, proactive communication skills for remote collaboration.

Bonus Skills (Preferred but Not Required)
• Experience working with real estate, lifestyle, or educational brands.
• Graphic design skills for thumbnails, branded overlays, or custom assets.
• Knowledge of SEO, YouTube keyword optimization, and social media content strategy.
• Familiarity with basic performance analytics and reporting.
