About Us:
BuiltByBit is a gaming marketplace for primarily teenage entrepreneurs to sell digital assets for a variety of games, such as Minecraft, Roblox, and Garry’s Mod. As our platform continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced full-time Customer Support Specialist to join our team and deliver exceptional support to our users. What You’ll Do:
This is a full-time (35-40 hours/week) position that involves:
- Customer Support: Respond to and resolve customer inquiries and issues via support tickets, ensuring all requests are handled professionally and efficiently within 48 hours.
- Content Moderation: Review user-submitted content to ensure compliance with platform guidelines.
- Dispute Resolution: Mediate and resolve conflicts between buyers and sellers, addressing concerns regarding transactions, content quality, and fulfilment.
- Reviewing Reports: Investigate and act on reports across various topics such as DMCA violations, fraud, and impersonation, taking appropriate action in line with our policies.
Minimum Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of customer support experience with a ticketing system.
- Basic understanding of and involvement in gaming communities.
- Strong English written communication skills, with a focus on professionalism and empathy.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to de-escalate conversations.
- Exceptional attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- A genuine passion for creating a positive and high-quality experience for users.
Bonus Qualifications:
- 3+ years of customer support experience.
- Experience using
- Knowledge of platforms like Minecraft, Roblox, or Garry’s Mod.
- Participation in marketplaces or creator communities (modding, artists, etc).
- Experience with content moderation or community management.
