JOB OVERVIEW

Hello!

My name is Josh.
I run a YouTube channel called GM Philosophy.
Check it out here: ----------

My channel is growing, and I’m looking for help to take things to the next level.

I need an awesome thumbnail designer who can create eye-catching, click-worthy YouTube thumbnails that match the style and tone of my channel.

I will provide all necessary images, footage screenshots, or assets — I just need someone creative who can design engaging thumbnails that encourage people to click.

I'm not sure exactly how many thumbnails I’ll need per week yet — but it will likely start part-time with room to grow if things go well.

I pay every Friday via PayPal, so you will need a PayPal account to receive payment.

What I’m Looking For:
- Honest, prompt, reliable communication
- Creativity and strong design sense
- Understanding of YouTube thumbnail best practices (big bold text, high contrast, emotional faces, minimal clutter, etc.)
- Ability to work with brand colors and visual style
- Someone who follows instructions carefully and pays attention to detail
- Respect for deadlines
- Openness to feedback and a willingness to improve designs over time

I also respect all time-off for important holidays and personal time-off requests. Just let me know ahead of time, and it will always be no problem!

Pay and Growth Opportunities:
Starting pay will be $5 per hour.

After 3 months of successful work, I plan to offer a pay raise based on performance and reliability.

After 12 months of consistent work together, I plan to offer a holiday bonus (approximately equal to one month's pay) as a thank-you for your hard work and dedication.

If things go well, there may be additional design opportunities (social media graphics, ebook covers, etc.)

A few questions for you:
- Please share a portfolio or examples of YouTube thumbnails you have designed.
- What design software/tools do you use? (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)
- What’s your favorite YouTube channel design-wise, and why?
