Video editor

As a Video Editor for our social media accounts, you will be responsible for creating eye-catching and engaging videos that connect with our online community. You will work closely with our content team to produce videos that align with our brand voice and mission. You’ll be the mastermind behind turning raw footage into polished, shareable content that resonates with our audience across various platforms (Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.).


Key Responsibilities:


Edit short-form and long-form video content for social media platforms including Twitter, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and more.


Collaborate with the content team to develop creative concepts and ideas for video content.


Maintain consistency with the brand’s voice, aesthetics, and messaging in all video content.


Use animations, transitions, effects, and sound to create compelling video stories.


Optimize video content for platform-specific requirements (aspect ratio, video length, etc.).


Stay updated with social media trends, viral content, and best practices for video production.


Manage multiple projects at once while meeting deadlines.


Track the performance of videos on social media platforms and use insights to improve future content.


Requirements:


Proven experience as a video editor with a portfolio showcasing your work.


Proficiency in video editing software (Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, etc.).


Strong understanding of social media platforms and their video requirements.


A creative mindset with the ability to bring fresh ideas to the table.


Excellent attention to detail and the ability to deliver high-quality content under tight deadlines.


Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a remote team environment.


Bonus: Experience with motion graphics or animation is a plus!
