We are now seeking a highly skilled and self-motivated Structural Draftsman to join our growing team remotely from the Philippines.

Position Overview
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed structural drawings for timber, steel, and concrete structures, following Australian Standards and project requirements.

Previous experience with Australian structural projects will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare structural drawings and detailed documentation for timber, steel, and concrete structures.
Interpret engineering sketches, specifications, and structural markups accurately.
Coordinate closely with structural engineers to deliver projects on time.
Ensure drawings comply with Australian Building Codes and Standards (AS/NZS standards).
Revise drawings based on engineering redlines and client feedback.
Maintain drawing and documentation quality according to company protocols.
Work independently from a remote home office or another suitable location.
Participate in online meetings and project coordination sessions as required.

Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Civil/Structural Drafting or equivalent qualification.
Minimum 3–5 years experience in structural drafting, including timber, steel, and concrete structures.

Proficiency with drafting software such as:
AutoCAD (essential)
Revit Structures (preferred but not mandatory)
Other drafting tools (advantageous)

Strong understanding of structural principles and detailing practices.
Familiarity with Australian Standards and Codes (preferred).
Excellent communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision.
Good organizational skills and attention to detail.

Equipment & Work Environment Requirements
Access to a reliable computer capable of handling drafting software.
Stable high-speed internet connection for remote collaboration.
Quiet and professional home office setup.
Access to licensed drafting software (preferred; or willingness to work with company-provided licenses where applicable).

Desirable
Previous experience working with Australian structural or engineering consultancies.
Ability to read architectural and engineering drawings with minimal clarification.
Familiarity with stormwater, civil, and retaining wall drawings (bonus).
